MLA '06: Hall of Exhibits Hours and Events
Convention Center: Halls D and E
The Hall of Exhibits offers opportunities to learn about the latest
products and services from some of the most respected names in the profession.
More than 100 exhibitors are expected. To fully enjoy the many displays,
we suggest you allow 6 hours during the meeting for walking through the
information-packed Hall of Exhibits. Children under 13 are not permitted
in the Hall of Exhibits.
Hours
- Saturday, May 20: 5:30 p.m.–7:30 p.m. (Welcome reception and
opening of exhibits)
- Sunday, May 21: noon–5:00 p.m.
- Monday, May 22: 10:00 a.m.–noon and 1:15 p.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, May 23: 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Events
- Internet Café (Saturday, May 20–Wednesday,
May 24)
Convention Center: Halls D and E; and

The Internet Café provides convenient Internet access
for meeting participants. To access your offsite email, bring the name
and, if possible, the Internet service provider (ISP) number of your
host (mail server) and your MLANET username and password.
- Poster Sessions (Sunday, May 21, 3:30 p.m.–4:30
p.m.; Monday, May 22, 3:30 p.m.–4:30 p.m.)

Peer-reviewed posters are a great opportunity to learn from
your peers’ experiences implementing new programs and establishing
new techniques for today’s contemporary library.
- Technology Showcase (Hall of Exhibits Hours)
A theater-style setting near the exhibit floor is open for exhibitor
and member presentations on the latest technologies. Running throughout
the day, these sessions are an opportunity for attendees to get a first
look at the technology on the exhibit floor. For a schedule of showcases,
